The exhaust in our home malfunctioned and carbon monoxide began leaking into our basement. I didn’t realize it for hours while I was repainting our walls until I felt a numbing headache and quickly passed out. Next thing I knew I was waking up outside of my home with paramedics and my brother who had carried me out after finding me. We went to Hyperbaric Centers of Texas for treatment after learning that was the best and really only option for CO poisoning treatment. After such a tremendous scare it was so great to have the helpful doctors and nurses and HCT explain the treatment and assure me that I’ll have complete access to them the entire time. I’m terribly claustrophobic but the chamber was spacious with plenty of windows. They saved my life!

Hyperbaric Centers of Texas is seriously the best. Over the summer, a bicycle injury left me with a major muscle contusion. My doctor recommended hyperbaric oxygen therapy as a way to speed the healing process so I could be ready for the volleyball season in the fall. Even after a few treatments I could feel myself healing quickly, and the pain and swelling diminishing. It was so so easy and the feeling of being in the chamber was almost spa-like. Unreal. Great place, totally recommend!
